Nisu sve porodilje jednake – neke dobiju 1261 KM, druge jedva 400 KM.
U Federaciji BiH visina porodiljske naknade zavisi od toga gdje živite, jeste li nezaposlena ili zaposlena, i u kojem sektoru radite. Bez jedinstvenog sistema , svaki kanton ima svoja pravila – i svoja ograničenja.
U Kantonu 10 dugo nije postojala nikakva naknada za nezaposlene porodilje. Kasnije je uvedena simbolična pomoć od 100 KM, a danas nezaposlene majke primaju 55% minimalne plate u Federaciji BiH. Kada je riječ o broju rođene djece, bijela kuga je ovdje posebno izražena:
U Glamoču je 2024. rođeno samo 5 beba, a umrlo 49 osoba. U Bosanskom Grahovu – rođene samo 2 bebe, a 26 umrlih. U Livnu – 120 rođenih, 302 preminule osobe.
Nažalost situacija i u ostalim kantonima u FBiH nije puno bolja kada je u pitanju prirodni priraštaj. Na sve to , umjesto da ih podrži, trenutni sistem porodilje dodatno obeshrabruje jer ne ostvaruju ista prava.

Inicijativa okuplja deset kantonalnih zastupnica iz različitih političkih stranaka, koje se zajedno zalažu za ujednačene porodiljske naknade u cijeloj FBiH – jer prava žena i podrška porodicama ne smiju zavisiti od poštanske adrese.
Vrijeme je da sve majke u FBiH imaju jednaku podršku – bez izuzetka.Not all mothers are treated equally – some receive 1,261 KM, others barely 400 KM.
In the Federation of BiH, the amount of maternity benefit depends on where you live, whether you’re employed or unemployed, and in which sector you work. Without a unified system, each canton has its own rules – and its own limitations.
In Canton 10 maternity support for unemployed mothers started with just 100 KM, and is now set at 55% of the minimum wage in the Federation.When it comes to the number of births, the demographic decline is particularly severe in this canton In Glamoč, only 5 babies were born in 2024, while 49 people passed away. In Bosansko Grahovo – just 2 babies born, and 26 deaths recorded. In Livno – 120 births, but 302 deaths. Unfortunately, the situation in other cantons across the Federation isn’t much better when it comes to natural population growth.And on top of that, instead of providing support, the current system discourages mothers – because not all of them have the same rights.
